Emergency Heating & Cooling

No heat? No AC? Call now — we'll get you sorted.

A dead furnace in January or a dead AC in July isn't a 'schedule you next week' problem. Emergency calls go to the front of the line — same-day whenever humanly possible — and you talk directly to the tech who's coming, not a call center.

Emergency Calls

What counts as an HVAC emergency

If your home is unsafe or rapidly becoming unlivable, that's an emergency to us. The usual suspects:

🥶

No heat in winter

A dead furnace or heat pump when it's freezing risks your pipes and your family. Top priority — call, don't email.

🥵

No cooling in a heat wave

Heat is dangerous for kids, older folks, and pets. We prioritize no-AC calls hard in summer.

🧊

Frozen or iced-over system

An AC or heat pump encased in ice can wreck its compressor if it keeps running. Shut it off and call us.

💧

Water where it shouldn't be

A leaking furnace, air handler, or water heater can do real damage fast. We'll help you stop it, then fix the cause.

⚠️

Burning smells or CO alarm

Shut the system off. If you smell gas or a CO alarm is sounding, get everyone out and call the gas company first — then call us to find and fix the cause.

Owner-Direct

When you call, you're talking to the licensed tech who shows up — not a dispatcher reading a script. That's the fastest path from 'help' to 'fixed.'

Why It's Faster With Us

One call. One tech. No runaround.

Big outfits route your emergency through a call center, a dispatcher, and whoever's on the rota. We're owner-operated: you describe the problem to the person who will actually fix it, we triage honestly on the phone, and we bring the right parts the first time.

  • Emergency calls prioritized ahead of routine work — same-day whenever possible
  • Real triage on the phone: we'll tell you what to shut off and how to protect your home right now
  • Upfront price before any work starts — an emergency isn't a blank check
  • 12+ years fixing heating, cooling, and refrigeration under time pressure
  • If we genuinely can't get there fast enough, we'll say so — not leave you waiting

Fast because it's simple: the person who answers is the person who fixes it.

Our Process

What happens when you call

Four steps between you and a working system.

1

Call 801-810-0740

Describe what's happening. We'll tell you immediately what to shut off or check while you wait.

2

Honest ETA

You get a real arrival window and a straight answer about how fast we can be there — no fake 'on our way' texts.

3

Diagnose & upfront price

We find the fault and give you the price before work starts. No diagnostic fee when we complete the repair.

4

Fixed — or made safe

Most emergencies are fixed same-visit. If a part has to be ordered, we make your system safe and get you heat or cooling options in the meantime.

Questions

Emergency service FAQ

Straight answers for stressful moments.

Do you offer same-day emergency service?
Yes — emergency calls go to the front of the line, and we get to most the same day. Call 801-810-0740 and you'll get an honest ETA from the tech himself, not a promise from a call center.
What about nights and weekends?
Call anyway. If we can come, we will; if we truly can't get there until morning, we'll tell you straight and walk you through protecting your home overnight — pipes, shut-offs, safe temporary heat. What we won't do is string you along.
Does emergency service cost extra?
You'll get an upfront price before any work starts, emergency or not — an urgent call is not an excuse to pad the bill. And as always, the diagnostic fee is waived when we complete the repair.
I smell gas — should I call you?
Not first. Get everyone out of the house, don't flip switches, and call your gas utility's emergency line (or 911) from outside. Once the utility has made things safe, call us to diagnose and fix the appliance that caused it.
My furnace died and it's freezing — what do I do while I wait?
Close off unused rooms, let faucets drip so pipes don't freeze, use space heaters safely (never the oven), and keep doors closed. Call us and we'll triage the rest on the phone.
My AC died in a heat wave — same question.
Close blinds, run fans, stay on the lowest floor, and check the breaker and filter — a tripped breaker or a clogged filter causes a surprising share of 'dead' ACs. We'll walk you through it when you call.
